Centuries after the devastation, brutal factions wage war over the now stabilized time portals to claim the lost technological wonders of the past. Rather than rule over nothing in a plentiful world, they would rather be masters of an empty wasteland, uncaring for the temporal paradoxes they'll ravage the cosmos with.
