Description

The basic game of Nim, of which Dr. Nim plays a variation, is thought to have been played in the Far East, perhaps China, thousands of years ago. It is interesting to realize this simple, but intriguing game has withstood the trials of time and has undoubtedly been played by millions of people over the centuries. E.S.R., Inc. hopes that you will find it interesting and delightful to play Dr. Nim and that you have at least an insight into the workings of computers. Who is Dr. Nim? He is a fascinating, challenging, digital computer, ingeniously designed and simply made, so that all can play against him. Less than a minute is needed to learn the rules of play.
